yeah, but there are also guys with mega hp on stock internals and drivetrain, who have made the decision to fix it as it breaks instead of prepping...that's all well and good until you put a hole in the block, you know? I'm just paranoid I guess (hell the car's only 2 mos old w/ 2200 miles on it)...I'm still on the nitrous fence, but if I do it 1. I'm going full nine with the toys (warmer, blanket, gauge, fuel psi cut-out, remote opener, purge, etc) 2. 75 shot would be the highest I'd spray...

150ft lbs with a 75 shot? That doesn't sound right. I'm afraid with nitrous i'd have to run my drag radials all the time in order to maintain traction. Not to mention the pain in the *** for me to get the bottle refilled, 35 mile drive.

^^^ actually I'm starting to get cheap and chickensh*t re: nitrous...average of $10 per run adds up fast...MMFF dyno'd a car with a NOS 75 shot and picked up 150 ft/lbs. and my clutch and trans do NOT like the sound of that...also +75hp puts me kind of close to 420 bhp (if I rate my mods VERY optimistically lol) and then I think of those little rods...but then again you only live once, everything can be fixed and pencils have erasers, right? We'll see...

I have had the 75 shot for a long time. Made 30 passes or so (not to mention street use), spraying all the way, at the strip with no issues. Stock rear end, axles, tranny, clutchand so on. I've made 1/2 of my passes with DR's the other 1/2 without. On the street, I have big BFG KD's 295/35/18's that stick pretty good so no issues there as far as traction goes.

Don't ask why but 150 lbs TQ increase is correct. A wet N2O kit makes alot more TQ than HP. A 75 shot usually will give 65 hp+- to the rear wheels and the TQ mentioned above.

I'm not investing anymore in N2O (except bottle fills) until I hit my goal of $6,500 for my S/C kit. I have the ZEX kit, with purge and an automatic blanket.

My only complaint about the ZEX kit (maybe all of them) is the connection at the TPS. I finally re-did mine last night to where it will never be loose again. I actually cut the wire, reconnected it into a bullet connector and then connected the rest the unit. No more loose connection.

N20 is a ton of cheap fun. About $750, start to finish for about .5 off your ET.

wow...I ordered my nittos and some takeoffs and I haven't had them OFF the car since I mounted them up! The car drives nicely and there's enough tread for inclement weather (I'm in FL)...actually sometimes I think about swapping the Pirellis back on for some burnouts, then I figure that the one time I do that, the streets will be teemed with challengers and there I'll be, scratchin for traction...I guess eventually I'll swap em back around for some fun...why don't you drive with your drag radials all the time?
