Default modding list for 3v 4.6

i think a couple ppl need to compile a sticky for the 3Vs 4.6 like how to get to 13s 12s 11s and etc. by engine modding then for the more seirous racer suspension etc. etc. becuz i think alot of ?s could be answerd by this.and what works wat doesnt. first of all CAI and tune. pretty much first thing that needs to be done. now if someone with more knowledge could build on that it would be great . thanks

to get to the 13s all you need is the ignition key lol...
...but yeah it would be a good idea, we'd have to figure short gearing in as well as hp and suspension mods...
...I've been posting that a good "stage one" setup, should be good for high 12s with good driving and conditions, would be:
MT: CAI/tuner combo, DRs, 4.10s, rear ca's
AT: CAI/tuner combo, DRs, 3.73s, rear ca's, stall converter

only problem is, there are so many different ways to do it (short gears vs factory, different types of FI, NA setups, suspension upgrades etc) it would very hard to keep it linear and may end up a complete clusterf*ck...but it would be worth a shot anyway...

There is no way to really do this.

change out the whole rear suspension and go F/I! New rear gear and a roll cage for safety and looks when getting below 11.49 in the 1/4 mile

hehe.....well its going to take FI to get to 11s and with a tune/cai/pullies/gears you should be able to get 12s, maybe some suspension and decent tires.....13s..hehe stock FTW baby!

recipe for 11s:
add one blower or turbo
mix with one set of ET Streets (bake them for 20 seconds) = high 11s

recipe for 12s:
who cares...... when you can slap on blower and do 11s

You mean get a system like Supra owners have
BPU (basic performance upgrades) Downpipe, boost controller etc..
BPU+ and so on..
It'd be nice but hard to get a uniform system

BPU1 (Intake/Tune)
BPU2 (Intake/Tune, Gears, Exhaust)
BPU3 (Intake/Tune, Gears, Exhaust, Suspension)
BPU4 (Intake/Tune, Gears, Exhaust, Suspension, Power Adder)
