Shifter for auto?
Any wanna found a aftermarket shifter for auto's?
I can't seem to find anything, I wanna get rid of the dinky plastic deal!
Even with the steeda machined covers still looks like A**!

The stock shifter is brushed aluminum. The t-handle is plastic.
Considering most shift ***** are plastic too what exactly are you wanting?
The big shiny T-handle shifter from TCI looks way cheesier than the stock shifter to me.

RE: Shifter for auto?
This is the Hurst in my car for my particular setup. Auto is only 3 speed but maybe there's one similar for a stock auto? You don't have to have all the extra buttons either...it's just the way it came with the transm. You can't miss or skip a gear...downside is that there is no D or P or R, you have to go through a few steps to do any of those things. Hey... everything in life is a trade-off.

That shifter (and all the others)do not work with a 5-speed 5R55S and that is why everyone is waiting for an option. The only option I know is Level 10 has paddle shifters for the S197 but you have to run their manual valve body.
