I'm looking to put 3.73 into my automatic gt. Problem is that there is not a reputablerace shop anywhere close to where i live, but there is a very good performance truck shop. How much different is it to put in car gears and truck gears(not much if any i think, but i'm a noob), and would it be a good idea to let the truck shop install them since dealerships are way overpriced and the truck shop has a very good reputation??
BTW the truck shop says they have done it before and the price quote is 275.
Any quick advice would be helpful. I'm trying to get the gears in tomorrow or before the weekend so i can have a little fun with the chargers(even though all i need isa stock gt)from back home.
