I am looking into getting headers for my 2005 mustang GT. Suggestions?

 

I boughtequal lenght headers from Steeda. I dont think the money I spent on the headers really made a difference on power. If your going to do headers go with the long tube headers.I hear the will give you the most bang for your buck. But I still don't know if it isworth the money for the minimal gain.I would buy X pipe and either High flow cats or cat delete with a good muffler that is deffenntly worth 20HP at the wheels and chop some weight off the car

 

an o/r pipe and new mufflers will get you 7-10 if that...no where close to 20.....with LTs, and new midpip on a N/A engine you probably still wont get 20HP out of that setup.....

 

Iwas going by my car which is supercharged.When I did the exhaust work and cold airand re-tune I picked up about 30 to the wheels

 

I have Kook LT headers and love them. I also did off road X- pipe. Gained 25 after retune at the rear wheels. I am getting a rattle from my Borla stingers now. Only when the car changes gears. Mines an autoand I cant figure this one out ?
