From the shops I spoke with., installation can range from $450-$850.
Also I was informed that you will have a hard *** time getting to the starter if it goes out and same for the tranny.
Correct me if I am wrong<<<< O wise ones.[sm=feedback.gif]

I have installed 4 sets of L/T's and 2 sets of shorties for people in my area. There is no real difference in the labor between the two.I charged them $200 for labor. It is only a 3 to 3.5 hour job with a drive on lift and the proper tools. As for the starter being harder to get to, no, not really.

It took me about 8 hours on a lift and this isnt my first set of headers to install on a car. The hardest part is all the little sh*t like getting the old studs out. I can definately see the starter being harder to get to at least the top bolt but it can be done. Go long tubes its definately worth it.

My Kooks LT and X-pipe took me 8 hours. I hadn't put headers on a car in 20 years. If you can get it done for 2 or 300.00 well worth it. My area local shops wanted $800.00 to install.

My brother installed mine for me while I was watching. He did not have trouble with anything. Use of screwjacks is a very very good idea. You just gotta raise the engine up a little bit and lower the crossmember. My BBK LT headers were a pretty easy install and only took about 4 hours with one guys working on the job.
