Default offroad pipe and emissions Q?

Soi was thinkin about adding a O/R pipe to the stang. would this work ok. If i got the MIL eliminators so it didnt throw anycodes. But would that mess up my sct tune at all ? or would i be ok and id just have to swap the pipes out every year for emissions. And also when the battery gets disconnected do i lose the current tune and it goes back to stock?

If you have an SCT tuner then you won't need to get MIL eliminators. You can have your tuner turn off the rear 02 sensors. If you are using the canned SCT tune then they might or might not already be off. When you disconnect the battery whatever tune you loaded last will be the one that stays on it.

ya My tune did have the cats and O2s shut off, however it would not pass emissions. Its not that it fails its just the emission test does not complete the 02s or cats so i had to turn them back on. And as far as i know you cant turn them on/off from the SCT you gotta contact the tuner or do it yourself thru the software.

if you have a livewire you can turn the rear O2's off/on yourself, if you got the xcal II or III i think you gotta get a new tune w/ it on/off.
