Default SCT livelink problems.

First off, great forum you have here. Secondly, screw you guys for makin' me spend all my money!

Ok, with that out of the way...I am having problems getting livelink to work. It appears to download without incident, but when i go to run the program it says something to the effect of "damaged file, possible causes file transfer error" blah blah blah. Hopefully some of you have experience with datalogging/computers and can help me out. Btw I tried to post on sct's site, but for some reason it won't let me post a thread.

THANKS

p.s. no one is allowed to talk about superchargers around me, i'm fighting the urge.

I have issues with mine too! I called them today and they were not a whole lot of help!

I want to try and use mine and hook it up to my Steeda but I am afraid I will mess something up.

When I connect mine to the computer nothing really happens other than the status window stating my new device loaded correctly and is ready for use. I can not get the software to recognize my tuner. I though it would be safer to look at the device while it is NOT attached to my car. But there is nothing to see.

I don't even get that. I downloaded the drivers, then livelink......nada.
Do you have vista? I think they are having problems with it.

I have a granatelli fuego programer. the stang really goes now ! Granatelli fuego has no data loging like they say, no updates. when you ask about a nitrous program the tech answering the phones just says they cant comment on that. No instruction manual. guess i should have bought a deablo preditor at least i.m not the only one that got hosed on programers.

I had a little problem with my programmer when I was doing my Ranger months ago & I had to update my computer with new files from SCT. Not sure its the same problem but you might want to check out the SCT forums.
