small mods to lower 1/4 mile time?

Default small mods to lower 1/4 mile time?

I've got a 2006 Mustang GT Bullitt 5spd. Its completely stock....at the moment. Im trying to figure out what are some small things I could buy for the car and hopefully have it runnin low 13's high 12's.

bullitts were only made in 01 and rereleased for 08

I'll move this thread from 4.0L to the GT side. And it could be a dealer-fabricated Bullitt. Stranger things have happened (like NEW Boss 302's being sold before Parnelli Jones got involved with Ford).

not sure what you are looking to do but as far as the best bang for buck it's the p/s delete belt.
for $49 you can drop 2-3 tenths and gain about 5mph !!
it's simple to change and can be done at the track in minutes and then returned to stock for the drive home just as fast.

It bypasses your powersteering pump to free up some rotation HP. Like spyder said it is good for .4 in the 1/4

4 Tenths seems a bit high for that type of Mod, don't you think.

Friend of mine has run the belt mod, and it took off at .3 for him. Just do this with a tune and intake and you should be there (if you are a decent driver).
