Bamachips strategy code

RE: Bamachips strategy code
Strategy code would be found on the tuner. You can read your vehicles code. If you are ordering a tuner and air intake combo pack? Just let him know your computer code for your vehicle and he'll be able to look up on his list for the strategy ford made for it.

You should be able to find the code on a label that's attached to your car's ECM, which is asilver metallicmodule that's locatedbetween the fuse box and theoil fill cap on the passenger's side of the engine compartment.

RE: Bamachips strategy code
It can be a bit confusing - since you have to have a tuner/scanner to get the strategy code, they're probably referring to the computer code, which is on the outside of the ECU (front passenger corner of engine bay) on a stick-on label.
Think of the computer code as the hardware version..
The "strategy" code is more like a firmware version - what's important to note is that if you return the car to a stock tune and take it to a dealer, and they update/reflash the ECU to a new strategy code (i.e. firmware version) and you attempt to reload the custom tune on top of the new firmware, you can lock up the ECU. So have your strategy code recorded before the dealer, and verify that its the same before reloading your cutom tune on top of it.
