Well no track for me till I get some better tires and a clutch. I need to be nice to the stock peices for a while. I have contemplated a Central Florida Blown Mustang meet. Us power adder guys should stick together and share info. Unfortuneately I work for a living and am too lazy in my off time to start it.

We could do a internet drag day where everyone has to go to the track and post thier timeslip by a certain day. All submissions would have to be on good faith.

We can see who has the best time, somone with a Saleen and someone with a whipple.

My money is on CK to bring home the crown for the whipple guys.

Just noticed your sig. I think a race between you and I would be pretty good. My car made 416rwhp 398rwtq on the dyno. Just dont know how long my stock clutch would last with some track passes on it. Plan to swap it out toward the end of the year.

I will take my car to the track when I have my new clutch in hand and an appointment to get it installed.

oh i see the club meetings have been moved to the drivetrain performance section. ahhhhh....more room to stretch out. this must be the high rent district.

another update:
i got the VMP tune, now gotta get it on my tuner and load it onto my car and dyno it. hopefully i can get an appt this weekend or next weekend but no real rush, but i am kinda anxious to see what the tune will do. i am also gonna datalog so can fine tune any bugs. but i have not datalogged before, any tips on datalogging anyone, even saleens can help me out on this one, or anyone for that matter.

Sorry no help on datalogging but I would like to try it someday.

When you get the VMP tune can you post a comparison of it to the canned whipple tune.

I would be especially interested in seeing A/F and timing mapped.

another update: i got the tune on the tuner, just gotta make an appt for the dyno. i've been calling every hour today and they dont pick up the phone. idk whats up w/ that, so gotta wait i guess.

I'm curious to see the results of the VMP tune mapped out. There are no S197 experienced dyno operators around new orleans, so I contacted VMP about a custom tune. Haven't recieved an email back yet, but I will probably buy their tune. ut of curiosity, how much does their whipple tune cost?
