Your issue has more to do with traction than anything else. Some sticky drag radials and some suspension work will do alot to help your traction.
LCA's with relocate brackets will help.
Otherwise your revlimiter is doing it's job. Learn how to ease into the throttle. I've learned to modulate the throttle in 1st and 2nds ince there is so much power. With the DR's on it's not a problem. Work on your traction issues and forget about your revlimiter.

You my friend just explained it to him better than anyone else. Which I was gonna do but finally the last post I read before I post someone answered his question.
And FYI, my rev limiter is set at 6800rpms and it feels damn strong when I take it that high, even though its only been 2 times, LOL.
