Are you really committed to going toforced induction? If yes, then I say save your money. $500 is a pretty good start. If you spend it on CAI and tuner, you have to start saving allover. Then you have to start over again when you decide you want to change the exhaust....and again when you decide you need headers, and again when you want new wheels, tires, suspension, etc., etc. If you really want to go big, I say go big first and add the accessories later, otherwise you never get to the big item.

If forced induction is really just a pipe dream and saying something like "three or four years down the road" is your way of holding on to that dream, then buy all the lesser bolt on mods that you can as you can afford them.

Thanks for the advice! I will probably get it and use my tax refundto offset the cost of the intake. Overtime will cover the rest.

If you're supercharging 3-4 years down the road, yes.
If you're supercharging 1-2 years down the road, yes.
If you're supercharging 6 months down the road, maybe.
If you're supercharging 1 month down the road, no.

check craigslist...there are always guys that used to be N/A and then went FI...they are the ones that now have to sell the CAI and sometimes tuner. Thats when you swoop in for the good buy. When you no longer need it, sell it to someone else. For now, it really is a lot of power for a small amount of money to add the CAI/Tuner.
