Default vibration

I got an 07 GT manual last friday. Starting yesterday, I noticed that after i put the clutch in (pushing as far as I can) and shift to the next gear (doesn't matter from what gear I'm going from or to), there is ... 'notched' feeling. It goes in gear without any other issue but I just wanted to double check that this isn't unusual behavior (never having owned a manual tranny before).

If I slowly move the shifter I can get it to a point where it vibrates heavily (before being fully in place), but I only did this once as it made me nervous to keep it there for more than a second.

Thoughts?

I am getting the same slight notched feeling also. It started a few months ago. Basically my clutch is wore out. The pedal play has reduced dramatically. That means there is not much space left from full pushed in to engaged and under heavy driving there is a noticeable clutch smell. I have 24000 miles on a supercharged car with 440hp to the wheels. I am going to shop for a clutch and aluminum fly wheel today. I have heard good things about Spec clutches. I am going to post a thread right now and get some feed back on what to buy. Good luck!
