Does the 08 4.6L even have an EGR valve?

Does the 2008 4.6L engine even have an EGR valve like on the 2004 ? anyone know ?

Nope! The 4.0L engine has a PCV valve, the 4.6L engine doesn't.

cool.. thanks.. i couldn't find any reference to it except before 2004 models.. a parts store has sent me the wrong part, but told me i could keep the one they mistakenly sent, which is a EGR valve delete cover.. you need one ? i don't..

i'll give it away.. lol

Well, there's still a PCV tube going into each valve cover. I have no idea what those guys sent you!

PCV and EGR are not the same thing. I don't think our motor have EGR.

Whoops, you're right acascianelli, I must have been half asleep when I read this thread. Thanks for pointing that out. I agree with you, the 4.6 doesn't have EGR that I know of.
