I installed the GT500 throttle body on my 07 GT with a Saleen S/C. My question is the throttle body came with an adaptor tube that was designed for the stock intake tube , not the larger diameter Saleen one. Does anyone make a direct bolt up kit(no adaptor) for this set up?

I spoke with JDM, they only make a C&L kit that requires lowering the engine. I want to try to avoid that if possible by finding the same stlye Saleen rubber one with the larger outlet.

 

Are you talking about the Saleen Extreme tube? If so, the C&L adapter plate will fit the Saleen Extreme tubing too, they are the same size.

 

I'm not sure what you mean by "adaptor plate" I have the Saleene extreme hose but it's way to small to fit over the GT500 throttle body.

 

No, i mean the rubber transition hose. It doesn't fit the Saleen CAI?
