Default Do I need a new diff?

I'm having issues at the track doing a burnout on my DRs. I back into the waterbox and do a small spin to get them wet. I pull out of the waterbox a few feet and then press and hold the brake. I hit the throttle all the way and let it shift into 2nd. If I stay on it, it'll eventually shift to 3rd and then kinda bog out and the burnout's over. If i try to feather the throttle, it'll kill the burnout and I have to pull out of it. Wheel speed hits and exceeds 50mph. From the back, I have video showing both tires starting to smoke at the beginning and then the passenger side tire just starts billowing smoke while the driver's side tire doesn't smoke at all. This uneven burnout is really making things inconsistant on the line. I usually spin. I lower air pressure and then if I happen to do a good burnout (both tires), I bog off the line.

I've been thinking about trying linelocks to see if that'll help since I won't be fighting the brakes to get the rears to spin.

Does it sound like the stock LSD needs to be replaced for something better like a Detroit TrueTrack? If so, can this be done without having to replace the gearset? I'd rather not have to replace the gears.

With the DRs, my best 60' ever has been a 1.86 but most of them have been 1.91-1.95. Hell, I cut a best of a 1.94 on my street tires so I know somethings up with my launches on the DRs.
