[align=left]So my friend wants to trade in his 02 GT for a new Mustang... We eneded up test driving the new Green Bullit. I was kind of excited to compare it to my 05 GT. So it has similar mods compared to my car. Exhaust, intake etc. I was really exicted to compare the bullits 3:73 gears to my 3:55's.

Okay wasn't impressed. I don't know if it was the conservative ford tune or what. But I really expected more. I thought it would forsure rev faster than mine having the 3:73's but nope. Felt sluggish as opposed to mine am 100% confident that my 05 is faster. I'm pretty sure a tune from Brenspeed would liven it up a bit but still. Oh yeah it might of only had exhaust tips because it seemed quiet. So yeah a tune and exhaust from brenspeed and it would be good to go. My take; if anyone is going to buy a new GT and is considering the bullit; save your money and get the regular GT and put the extra money into mods.

On a plus note, my Kenne Bell Intercooled kit was sent out in the mail today and I should be getting it early next week!

Yeah, the FRPP tune is not as aggressive as our custom tunes. I'm not surprised that you weren't impressed.

Well just putting in my opinion... i love my BULLITT! i had an 06GT with a coldair and tune and right off the bat i could tell the bullitt was much stronger and smoother...
the bullitt has a tuned exhaust ecspecially for the car with a custom tunned h pipe and mufflers... not just tips... and yes the FORD tune may not be up to brenspeed level but then again it isfactory, there can always be something better. it may not be very loud and it may look like a v6 but thats the fun of it bc when some retard pulls next to you in a Z28 or eclipse or anything for that matter thinking your a v6 and then you rape them! i love the sleeper looks of it. Ive already taken out a number of ss camaros and z28's at the track and a few gt's.
but if you dont like it, then you dont like it. its all good

I have to agree. I love everything about the bullitt except for its sticker price. There just isn't enough on that car to justify that much cost over a GT.

honestly, i paid 30,500 with out ttl for my 06 gt and for the bullitt i paid 32,500 also with out ttl. My 06 was fully loaded and so, obviously, is the bullitt... So depending on where you shop for your cars it really wasnt that much more. And, quite honestly, it was worth every penny. I love my DHG BULLITT

I was in no way trying to bring your particular car down. I'm just saying for that 2,000$ difference at your dealership (6,000$ difference here in San Diego) you could defintely spend your money better. I don't think it is worth it... Thats like a top of the line headers back exhaust and intake/tune where you live, and like a HO Whipple supercharger here in SD.

The one I drove was definitely a lot slower than my car...

P.S. that custom h pipe and mufflers sounds stock. Quiet like no other....
