with my 4.30's i tach around 2200rpm at 55. i love them but i have tall wheels 275/35/20's. 4.10's wouldnt of been enough for me.factor in your wheel size also...........................
4:30s?! that's hardcore.

yes mympg has gone from 15 to 12 city and 24 to 21 highway. thanks stealth_GT for the compliment on the car. cant tell by the pic but looks like a stripe on yours right.

Thanks John, I think i'm going 3.73's because my GT is a DD and I run between70 and 80MPH alot. It will still be a big improvement over the 3.31's and still get decent gas mileage.

That makes sense. With the manual transmission, the 5th gear is 0.68, while with the automatic the 5th gear is 0.71. So,

4.10 manual = 3.73 automatic (approximately) and
4.30 manual = 4.10 automatic (almost exactly)

that's sounds pretty good but then again with both cars running equal mods,
say CAI/tuner,axel back exhaust,3k stall converter..which auto would come out on top
in terms of drag racing?

stock tires,one with 3.73s and one with 4.10s?

not sure why but not convinced that 3.73s would be enough for my needs,which is
soley for drag racing.
