GT500 supercharger on a GT?

GT500 supercharger on a GT?
I tried doing alittle research, but couldn't find anything concrete. I can't be the first to think of this or want to try it.
I came across someone locally who is selling the GT500 stock supercharger, TB, injectors, coil packs and some other parts off his GT500 because he put in a bigger one.
He kept the intake manifold, so I'd have to get that. However, will that intake work with my 3V heads? If not, is there some way to adapt that anyone knows of?

Haha.....
So I take it parts on these cars are not interchangable like the 5.0-5.8 parts were? The guy is saying it can be done, but he can be just trying to make a sale. Which is why I'm here.....

Adam @ ST Motorsports sells the 3.4 Whipple designed for the GT500 to fit the 4.6, so give him a call, and that should make you happy if you want to make stupid power with a GT

Stkjock: I know about the cam and valve differences....if the ports on the 3V heads are in the same spot as the 4V heads, then the intake manifold needed to run the charger may fit on both blocks regardless of how many valves are over each piston.

I wouldn't be surprised if someone eventually released an adapter kit, given the large number of GT500 owners who are replacing the stock supercharger with other kits. If so, it might make it an affordable option, but there are still plenty of much better supercharger kits out there for the money. (Whipple, Kenne Bell, Saleen, Procharger, Vortech, etc.)

agreed....i dont see the advantage in getting it even with an adapter kit, many great options on the market for the 4.6 that produce plenty of power for the stock block anyway. I mean if you build the internals up and what not i guess a GT500 take of charger might give you more gains but i cant see it by that much.
