hey everyone.. new to forum, so not sure if a post is up about this .. Anyway.. I have an '07 mustang GT, and I wanted to purchase a package CJ Pony is offering.. It is the deluxe package that includes a JLT CAI, FlowMaster Exhausts, and an Xcalibur tuning chip, for a price of $750. Good deal? Bad? Anyone have this same package?

 

The biggest problem with that package is you will get an 'off the shelf' tune. In otherwords, the Tune(s) are coming from SCT and they don't know anything about YOUR car, its just a very general, conservative tune. Buy your package from a Tuner shop, a vendor who has a dyno and will actually send you a set of tunes for your exact car and mods that they built on a dyno. Personally, not a fan of CJ's. They have good prices and good service.. but I had one of the wrench monkies try and tell me that the SCT canned tune was as good and would make as much HP and TQ as a custom tune I did for a customers car... and when I shut him up by proving him wrong on a dyno, he welched on the bet and left.
