Default speedometer a ticket and making changes

What kind of numbers would one have to play with to lower your speedometer reading . I changed gears and tires then changed the ratio in my sct 2 tuner, but I still need to loose 5 mph at 60 to be legal again. thought i was doing 54 but radar got me at 59
gonna take it and have it checked for calibration soon......before court.
Maybe get it reduced to improper equipment.....

I have the sct 3 so I'm not sure if you can do this, but see ifyou can change the rpm (Revolutions Per Mile) for your tires. The tire manufacurers website can tell the proper setting

The xcal2 only let me change the tire RPM's in 10 of RPM increments. Try the next higher value than what's currently set.

Ok just for info here I changed the gear ratio from 3:73 to like 273 and while doing 50 mph the speedo was way off showing up to 70 mph. Tried it at at a gear of 430 and it was showing 53 while running 62 mph. Since I changed gear size and tire dimension I had to dial it in a little better. had it re-calabrated.
