Snycro(3rd gear) went bad and i have no 3rd for now and i want to do a whole tranny rebuild since if i fix third i know i will break it due to powershifting x.x so does anyone know of good rebuild kits


i know it be better to just upgrade but its not in my budget looking for a rebuild kit that would have reenforced syncros if not a stock rebuild kit at least.

 

i dont know how much a stock rebuild kit would cost but dont forget you can always buy take of transmissions with 5 miles on them, they usually sell for 600 dollars.

 

yea might look for one kinda pissed off at the fact how it died tho i called ford to see due to me hearing trannys are warrented for 50k to find out if its true 1 guy said yes, but the head tech said no.


So basicly i guess i gatta swap to the same tranny and save for a T-56 that can take the punishment.


Well i'll see tommorow have 1000 bucks so far saved for a new one and having no 3rd blows can't take my car to the track at all... =/ wanted to start getting use to the chrismas trees T_T

i got a T-6060 from a yard now i am wondering what moding to the bellhousing/driveshaft do i need to install this thing....

i know it isn't a direct bolt on so what to do...



(Yes its the T6060 that goes in the shelbys.)
