just ordered a set of ford racing 4.10's and i cant wait to drive the car with them. any guesses on wut i'll run in the 1/4 with them? will i lose mph in my trap speed?

 

Nice numbers for just headers, CAI and a tune. You now have yourself a 12 sec car if you can hook. I only lost 1 mph but ran 1.5-2 tenths quicker when I went to 3.73's (and I spun in 2nd gear). The 4.10's will give you more torque..much easier to spin the tires.

 

You will need to get better hooking tires with the 4:10s. You will spend for a second or two when you power shift to second.

4.10s and DRs should yield a .2 -.3 improvement IMO

 

I want 4.10's... Congrats I am sure you will love them.. Good luck getting that thing to hook, haha.

 

I think 4.10 and dr would improve more than .2 to .3. With 3.55 and crappy nitto 450s, my best 1/8 mile time corrected is 8.9. With 4.10s and BFG KDWs my best 1/8 mile corrected is 8.4.

lol yea things were getting very tight for a while and i was really contemplating selling it" glad i didnt" things have cleared up and now im probably moving to north carolina which will be very nice. my buddy is the manager at a ford dealer and hes installing them for free. i just had to buy all the parts and he'll said he'll cover it under warranty
