Smile ET for STOCK GT/auto trans/3.31 gears

I never got to run my 08 GT in stock form. I'd like to know what the stock setup was capable of? Mine is a 08 GT/auto trans/3.31 gears. Since i bought it i've added a few bolt on's. Last week i ran it for the very first time at Cordova dragway. I ran with a 91 tune in it and went 13.64 best. that's at 362 ft elevation in 55 degree weather. OLD man driving(me). First time down the track in 21 years. NEED to perfect my launch!!!!! I've added MMR cold air/JBA long tubes(2 1/2")/JBA matching hi-flow catted H pipe/JBA axleback mufflers/custom tuned SCT SF3 tuner(SoCal Tuning Tuned). Will run tonight IFFF it does not rain. Will be COLD though/around 40 degrees!!! Last Friday test/tune of the year here in Illinois. Thanks!!

I hear the old man thing. Same here. I don't track and I'm no expert but from what I've read here I'd say low to mid 14's had you been bone stock.

I'm in far northwestern KY right at the southern tip of IL and my Stang is lovin' these cooler evening temps... A lot like my dog... More playful!

low-mid 14's seems kind of slow even stock, are the autos that much slower than the manuals?

Not sure how much slower...but they're unable to launch like a manual. And as you're well aware...that makes a big difference.

Well at Cordova/elevation 632 fee last Friday, ...my 08 AT car/3.31 gears(91 tune) was within .008 ET , (yup 8 one thousandths..NO spin from either car!) with a 5 speed/3.55(93 tune) with roughly the the same mods as mine.EXCEPT he has a PRO CHAMBER in his exhaust that i don't have! Both have long tubes(different brands),cold air(different again)/axle-back muffs(different)..etc.Thought i did pretty well...even tree'd him and won by 1/2 - 3/4 a car!! Leaving right now to run tonight!! IFFFFF the rain holds off!! COLD....it's to be 45 degrees or so tonight! WHEW!!

a 13.7-13.9 is very very common with a stock auto... the tune on them dont do them justice at all.

13.4-13.6 stock manual is pretty common

If you make it to the track tonight..you should have some better than average times. I looked up your track and weather conditions.

track altitude of 685'
Temp 45
humidity 82%
Baromoter 30.28

Those calculate to a DA of -389' below sea level. Make it count!
