I hear 3-4 cycles are needed before I floor it.

It will be tough to resist :P

definately do the heat cycles, it'll help the gears get seated properly and be worth it in the long run

well i wouldnt go to the track before 500 miles but yes you can stomp on it after a good 5 heat cycles but not from a stop get rolling in second and let her have it shift soft and hammer on it shift soft . just dont shift hard for a while longer and dont race it untill 500 km and there should be no whine

so if you powerband quicker though wouldnt that mean you would have a better start but it would decrease the cars top speed and acceleration at higher speeds even more?

not enough for you to notice unless you regularly drive at 140+

He told me not to push my car too hard for the next couple of days to break in the gears - so I decided to take it easy. But even on pretty regular driving I can feel my car pulling a little harder. I can't wait till I can floor it and see how it goes.

Now to fix the speedo - I just change the axle ratio on the predator?
Congrats. I paid the same for my gears here on the East coast. If the predator is like the SCT, yes, just scroll down and change the ratio.

Enjoy!

So today I drove a little more freely since I had completed 4 heat cycles.

I noticed that with O/D on there really isn't that huge of a difference, but with O/D off, the difference is insane.

Great mod! I wish I did 4.10's. I stuck by the rule of automatic = 3.73's.....yeah....barely any difference from 3.31's

If I could do it over again, I'd go 4.10's, even with the auto.

Enjoy!!!
