so if you reflash with the tuner to stock, would that screw everything up, like cams, headers, gears, etc?

this is going to sound like a dumb question but what are the 02s and what does turning them off do?

02s are your oxygen sensors. you have four in your exhaust. two are for each bank on your engine. one goes before the catalytic converter and one goes after the catalytic converter. the first one functions to give feedback on whether the engine is running rich or lean. the second one lets the car know if the catalytic converter is functioning correctly.

It could if you don't flash it back after you complete the emissions test... but for a short period of time you should be fine running on a higher octane grade with your mods.....

Call Doug at bama-chips. He can write you an emissions tune that will show everything normal and pass the test. The tune you are currently runnng has the sensors turned off.

Im not sure why he wanted me to do that, but tomorrow i will find the sheet that he gave me and I will post exactly what passed and what failed.

Because the 1st thing that pops in a tester, or a tech when checking for obd2 codes, (this is what the emissions people are looking for) When they have monitors that are not ready, if someone disconnected the battery recently and the drive cycle has not been completed. You would get the same results, just that having o2's turned off, you will never get all ready status'

Ok so I should get new tune for the test or can I just flash it back to stock when I get to the place have them do the test then put the tune back after I pass or would that be a bad idea.

ya basically when they say they can tune of the 02s, it prevents you from failings, but it almost prevents you from passing. Inspection will not complete with that tune on. Just like mentioned above.

It sounds like the rear o2s are turned off. I have a seperate tune for emissions. You do need to drive the car for around 100miles to reset the PCM. It works for me and I have American Racing headers with catted H and a bunch of other mods.
