those who put the whipple on did you use the H.O and if you would use a oversize pully, what about tunning it. and i seem to be having a problem finding part # and prices

There a lot vendors out there that carry these including lethalperformance.com who seem to fairly reasonably priced... but from what I have read, if you call these places up directly, you can usually work out a much better deal than they publish on their website (especially with the ecomony right now, its a buyers market!).

Here here are the Ford p/n's for the IC and non-IC version of the 08-09's.

IC (Black) M-6066-M118
Non-IC (black) M-6066-M463V8

These kits all come with a voucher for a Pro-cal tuner that you order once you receive the charger, that includes a canned Ford tune for your car/charger set-up.

Speaking of Lethal, do you have a good contact there as I need to get some pricing for gauges/pod and see they carry the brands I want??

If you want to stay under 450rwhp just get the Saleen SC w/475 hp upgrade I am making 438rwhp at only 6lbs of boost, brenspeed has a very nice package that comes with a tune. My second choice would be a whipple, but I don't know why you would go that direction and then put on a larger pulley, and detune the car, why not just get something that fits your needs out of the box.

$5,795 delivered... which is actually a bit cheaper than the Saleen 475 kit from Brenspeed with almost identical numbers

Your best bet is to get the the Ford Racing H.O. kit part number M-6066-M118. 550 HP at crank complete kit the hardest part is installing the fuel pumps, once you get past that the rest is cake. As for off the line and up top HP that is a myth, couple issues ago MM&FF magazine did a comparo between roots/twin screw and centrifugal style chargers and basically it's not all that different especially when you compare a good twin screw kit like the FRPP H.O. to a Centrifugal like a Vortech for example.
Why is that kit his best bet? What about KB or Saleen or the Roush TVS?
I would recommend any of the Kenne Bell intercooled kits. My experience working with Kenne Bell over the last 29 years has been great. They are a great company that engineers quality stuff. Jim Bell has forgotten more about building performance engines than most of these guys will ever learn in a lifetime.
