Default Superchargers

I want to buy a supercharger for a 2008 GT. I see manifold typs like Roush and Ford racing and the other type like Procharger which is the best way to go?

Not for nothing man, but that's a whole lot like asking what's the best orange juice. Some people will say Florida, others California. It all depends on what you want. Boost right off the bat or power that comes on pretty hard later in the power band.

KENNE BELL OR A WHIPPLE. Make sure you get the High Output (intercooled kit).

I'm running a Kenne Bell HO at 10lbs. Like Tony the Tiger Says "It's Great"!

there's also the new Edelbrock that is about to hit the streets. Although "untested", seems like a good design and gives those like me who want to keep the bottom end in tact a low PSI option that gives you 400RWHP

So CRAN, where you at in WI as we might be neighbors!

Your best bet is to get the the Ford Racing H.O. kit part number M-6066-M118. 550 HP at crank complete kit the hardest part is installing the fuel pumps, once you get past that the rest is cake. As for off the line and up top HP that is a myth, couple issues ago MM&FF magazine did a comparo between roots/twin screw and centrifugal style chargers and basically it's not all that different especially when you compare a good twin screw kit like the FRPP H.O. to a Centrifugal like a Vortech for example.

if you get the whipple HO, you can put on a bigger pulley and run less boost. depends how you drive too, if you beat on your car things will break sooner.
