Install Cost
I'm sure you have checked several things with Brent or Seth in your research, as I know I have. However, just want to make sure you are aware that assuming you do not need a tuner, since your sig shows a CAI already, you will receive a 200 credit for that. Also, if you pay cash, check, or money order, it gets you another 100 credit. So, there is 300 bucks toward your install right there.....Or, in my case, to defray the cost of upgrading to the polished system....

This is Amps reply..
"Adam, hi, it would normally run $1344, but I'll do it for $1000 if you buy the blower from us.
If you have any further questions please let me know."
And I am sure they are not selling it as cheap as Brent...

I just found this and emailed them..
http://www.stage3motorsports.com/pro...er_System.html
At the bottom it states..
# 700.00 Install at Stage 3 Motorsports
# $250.00 Vortech Rebate - Call Now
Which would make the price about equal to brents! Waiting to here the response.

You only get the rebate if you buy the S/C from the dealer you have it installed at. What is the sales tax rate in AZ? I know if I had bought that $4000 kit in TX, I'd have paid about $330 in taxes which pretty much nullified the rebate. Also, I wanted the Brenspeed tune on the car...
I made the mistake when I got the first quote of telling them I hadn't bought the kit yet. On the second one, I just called and said look, I have this kit and its on its way already, here is the parts list. That left them no room to try and pull the cheaper install BS if you buy the kit from them, etc etc. Then it just came down to whether or not they wanted to get paid for the labor. Not surprisingly, they did...

I think somewhere in the neighborhood of $1000 is pretty fair for the install....could end up being a hair more, but probably alittle cheaper since you are thinking of the non-IC version.
Just make sure you do your homework on all the shops that you talk to, there are some that do nothing but chase numbers without your best interest in mind....and from the sounds of it you are looking for something that is not only going to add power to the car but also be reliable....a good shop will balance it out.
