this may be no help to you because it was so long ago since hooking a narrow band gauge up but, on my SHO I believe that the white wire is the signal wire on a 4 wire O2 sensor, but I might be wrong.

yet you quote hood pins as a mod? how is wanting a blinking light any different than shiny metal on your hood? if you want to explain to biljeek the benefits of using a wideband O2 that would be something, but being a douche when someone asks a question is just childish.

hood pins are functional, especially when you cut a big hole in your hood to make your hood scoop functional.. do you have hood shake? imagine if your hood scoop worked... DICK

as for the OP you can tap into a wire closer.. under the passenger side carpet there is a wire. i cant remember what one. I say its useless because i had one in my old car and tapped into it there. It was a 04 though. if you go to the Ford Service manuals and search you should be able to find it.
But i stand by my original statment. I had it and thought it was cool for about 3 days then it got annoying and i disconnected and pulled it out. Just thought id give you a heads up.

Ps who names there kid RAIN???
