I have a 09 Gt thats got a 3.73 gear installed and a FRPP gridle. I have the amount of fuild (gear oil) the owners manual specified 4.25 qts. Just wondering if there should be fluid filled to the top of filler hole on gridle cover? I can stink my finger in the filler hole, but i dont feel any gear oil.
Also, with the 3.73 gear there is a slight whine when letting off the accelerator. Is this normal? Do the bullitt mustang make the same noise from factory?

IIRC its 4.25 PINTS not quarts, the fluid should not be to the top filler hole

the whine on decel is very common, if that's they only place ur getting it I would not be concerned

my bad,youre right. I meant to say pints instead of quarts, just dont use that word a lot. Thats good to hear the low whine is normal. Thanks Stkjock

your welcome, the whine only on decel tho, if your getting it under acel and cruising that's not good
