Default Porting our Heads?

So my blower setup is going to be maxed out here at 20 lbs of boost pretty soon, i've got a good cam, and about everything else I could do done to my car. I'm starting to look at after market heads or some porting. Has anyone ported there stock heads and gotten good power gains out of it?

According to this article in MM&FF, ported heads are good for about 100HP in NA form. Of course they are using Livernois Motor Sports Heads, but a good porting job an your stock heads should reap the same benefit.

100 hp is a little overstated. It should free up a lot of power though. If you are going to do it, go with livernois. They are complete and ready to make big power. With oversized valves, bronze guides, heavy duty springs...etc.

I'm trying to go with the porting aspect to save lots of money. From what I heard the stock head are pretty good to go with some porting. Any one have any idea how much a port job should cost?

no shot that they are good for 100hp even on a FI set up IMO

maybe 30-50 depending on intake and exhaust on a FI set up

If you are looking for just a port job, send them to fox lake or BBR sells bare ported heads
