so as you may have seen my rear end went out, so far i will be needing a new set of gears and now it looks like i will need a new rear diff. I was looking around for options and i wasnt sure what i could go with. I take it stock im looking at 28 spline? and i couldnt use the 31 spline diff unless I change the axles? correct?i have an 05 GT by the way

 

I'm pretty sure the GT's come with the 8.8" 31 spline stock.
This was discussed on a different thread and a member posted the 8.8 is 31 spline, and the 7.5 is the 28 spline. Hope this helps!

I went with an Auburn LSD when I put my 4:10s in.
Bought it from Steeda. $400. Seems to be handling the power well, no strange noises, etc.
The stock diff was doing the one wheel peel thing, and I figured while I was in there changing the gears...

 

hows the OBX diff? i saw one on ebay for like 375$?? i really dont do any hard launches so i dont need anything too crazy. Eatin for 450 was the other one i was looking at
