random gear question...
So... exactly how much of a slouch would an automatic GT be with 3.27 gears?
would it be beneficial for a whipple H.O. charged auto GT to be running them?
Love the 4.10s being NA but considering 3.31s or possibly 3.27s once I go SC...

Just my opinion here......But If it were me, I would have 3:73's in my WHIPPLED Automatic GT Many guys here are running 4:10's and absolutely love them. I'm sure they will let you know how much. I certainly wouldn't go below 3:55's if I was you. Have fun..!!

I know I shouldn't worry so much about MPGs, but the 4.10s are killing meh!
I love the acceleration but it sure is costing me during the summer months, especially when I like to cruise around town alot and also frequent the drag strip 100 miles away.

Most of the guys would opt for a little higher gear once you go FI. I'm running 3.73s. It's a daily driver with not a lot of highway time so they work well. 3.55s would be better if I drove the highway more.

soooo...
3.27 gears, even with a whipple H.O. kit would pretty much make the car a slouch??

I really didn't mind the 3.31 gears actually, I just wanted to see what the big fuss was about with the 4.10s. They're great but wow, what a list of side effects (I was aware of btw) Acceleration comes with a price. I also have class twice a week about 80 miles away, 160 if you count there and back, try going 55 all the way and i'd get mowed down lol.
