Default Clunking 5 Speed

Just bought a 2009 GT/CS about 3 months ago, and after about a month it starts clunking between shifts. Its very loud, loud enough to hear if your standing outside the car as I idle by. It will even do it if I work the gears sitting still, but only if the car is running. I googled the problem and read where a few others have had the same issue, but all of them ended up being a major headache trying to get the problem resolved. Ford doesn't seem to want to recognize the problem. Do any of you S197 guys/gals have this problem? Any ideas or resolutions are greatly appreciated. I would rather get some opinions before I let it sit at the dealership for 2 days, just for them to throw some BS at me about how its normal. Sorry if this has been asked 5k times.

It was. It started pretty much as soon as I got it and has progressively gotten louder.

Mine clunks when shifting from 1st into 2nd. Usually going around turns. Always done it as far as I can remember. Never done anything about it.

yeah there can be a little clunking, but
your situation doesn't sound right.

might just have to let the ford mechanics
figure out what it is, so it can get fixed
once and for all.
