Default kenne belle?

Seems like a great kit but not alot of people have them.

Any reason why it's not quite as popular as the Whipple H.O., Paxton, Vortech?

Maybe it's just me but it seems like everyone has one of the above just mentioned ,but not alot of people have the Kenne belle kits..

Not a bad choice by far. I have a Whipple and have nothing but good things about Kenne Bell. You should go for it if you can find one reasonably priced.

They are competitively priced indeed. The only thing that intimidates me is the 'sticky' thread for the installation on that kit.

Looks like a handful lol.

It seems like any new supercharger release is the most popular in the forums

Here's a good read. Helped me make up my mind

It is but they also make a considerable more power in terms of torque then the CF chargers.

I can get the Vortech V3 kit really soon, or I can just wait it out and get a Whipple H.O. or KB 2.6 kit next summer.

I am in no rush.. once winter hits, 15 inches of snow and 18 hours of darkness- so the GT will be pretty much putting around town lol.

The only thing I really want to do before summer is over is to get my car to hit 13.0@106 consistently. I am getting shorty headers and delete plates right now, it may not do the trick but it sure wouldn't hurt!

Might consider holding out on the delete plates as the twin screw superchargers replace the intake .

I'm going to get the KB stage 2 for my GT. I put one into my buddy's 04 GT and it was sick! everything about the kit screams quality, it comes with good directions and even though you move a lot it still comes out looking clean, to me anyway. a big plus to me is the tune it comes with, zero problems on my buddy's GT and put down the exact power on the dyno they said it would.

in the end as long as the blower itself is a twin screw and not a roots or centrifugal you'll get a nice fat powerband and the ability to run more power down the road. I haven't personally looked at the whipple just because I've already dicided I'm getting the KB. the power I've seen quoted in sig's on here showed the power from the whipple down compared to the KB on the same amount of boost. not sure why that would be except for maybe the blower design itself and KB goes crazy on the intake side of the system, maybe that's more efficient.

just looked at the whipple kit and my guess is the hot air intake and the stock TB are why it's power is a little down on the KB stage 2.
