Nevermind. I was looking for in-depth knowledge on the issue, but it seems no one is interested.
You didn't look very hard. Like moosestang said, there have been SEVERAL threads on this subject already. The answer is definitive. It can't be done without going inside the engine. Even after going in the engine, it is FAR more cost effective to just slap on a blower.
I didn't bother to read any of the replies but it's VERY possible. CAI, CMDP, long tube headers (even with cats) good set of mufflers, a N/A set of cams, the new FRPP twin 62mm throttlebody and most importantly a really really good tune and you'll make more then 400 bhp maybe around 450

LOL. You read the Title, but you didn't read the OP. CAMS are not allowed for the what OP is asking.

not only did you not read the post with regard to cams but you aren't spouting correct info. there have not been several threads on this subject, there have been several threads on similar subjects.
Furthermore 400 hp is easily possible if you include things like the C&L intake manifold and an electric water pump to a basics full mod list with cams. That's not even stretching it.
343 RWHP is 404 flywheel hp, that's actually more than is being asked. He could shoot for sizably more if he wanted.
