CDC Shaker with CAI
I am planniong to get a CDC shaker system and read that it is designed to plumb up to factory air box. I currently have a CAI and woudl like to keep that.
Can the two play nice together and look good as well under the hood? Will I need another tune when I add the shaker?

Here is mine.... loved the look before getting a S/C.
Not sure I agree that it becomes more useless with a CAI, but do agree that it doesn't really do much for ya... other than look dang good!
No, you won't need a tune adjustment for the shaker, just the CAI
I gotta say though, I prefer my new shaker, the supershaker! LOL

Thank you for the responses...and the pictures. That helped alot to see the plumbing.
I already have the CAI installed and the car is tuned for it. The shaker is simply for looks. I'm going with kind of an old-school look and I think the shaker with a full black hood decal would look great.
After this I will be getting a chin spoiler and a Cervisi rear deck spoiler in black as well as side louvers to finish out the look (I already have the rear window louvers (not pictured).
To make the finale I may (not yet a definite) get a V3 supercharger. I don't think a twin screw will work with a shaker system, will it?

When I mentioned major mods, this was what I was thinking about having seen at another site.... shaker scoop on a whipple, though totally non functional. http://s197forum.com/forum/showthrea...ht=shaker+hood
But.. go with the Saleen Supershaker, and you have fully functional... feeds direct into the intake / TB, or basically is the intake. van't beat the sound, among other things...
