Need some opinions based on experience. Does anyone have the protorque product installed? How much labor is involved in installing these things? How does the product compare to the TCI? Final question- is this a worth while mod. Any info would great.

I dont know much about them but I would still say go with either TCI or Level 10 3000 or 3500 stall converters. The name is there and so is the proven performance from a name with some history behind it

I see alot of people using the TCI 3k stalls but I also heard that they were junk, because of being reworked stock torque converters. I will be going with the Persicion industries multi-plate 3k TC.

Are you going to apply a cooling option? How much labor is involved in install-- trying to get a price on this mod?

this install alone will easily be $600 because you have to drop the tranny

****-- 600 plus 8-1200 for the unit puts this thing on the further research list. I think I may get the IC for the v3 first.

If I were you, i'd seriously get the intercooler upgrade before the high a stall converter. It'll launch it like a bat outta hell but it's not going to help anywhere near the amount as it will an intercooler plus.... BBBOOOOOOOOOST!

That is too much money for the labor involved,a good tech can do it in 1.5 hrs.
All you really do is move the tranny back from the engine R&R the tc and bolt back,$300 to $350 is more than fair, just my 0.2.
