Why are you selling? Got pics? PM a price...I'm going to buy this weekend or maybe Friday.

I chatting with Bamachips on getting my new tunes ready for install day and they had a question which I'm not sure of...can someone explain:

"Are you going to be using limiters or lockouts with the cams?"

Which does the FRPP Hotrods come with?

ok KcMstang, the hot rods don't come with
either phaser limiters or phaser lockouts.
FRPP does not require or recommend either
one.

I don't know of a single person who installed either
type, when installing their hot rod cams.

so the answer is, no limiters or lockouts will be
installed.

can you install one or the other? sure, but it's your
call to do so and you'll be the first.

FRPP Hot rods do not need either. Only Comp cams do. I'm surprised bamachips asked that.

Alright, I just replied back...wait and see how he responds.

Thanks for the quick replies...trying to get all my ducks in the row so when I go to do the install I don't have any hickups!

Only Comp Thumprs require limiters/lockouts. The comp Stage I and II NSR cams don't need these. In that respect they are like the FRPP Hot Rod cams. From what I've read and heard, The FRPP Hot Rods are more for sound than hp, the Comp stage II cams are more for hp than sound. I got his info. from Brenspeed and Tilman speed.

In talks with Bama they seem to like locking out any type of cam on this car. I guess it is easier to tune that way.
