Default Custom Headers?

I was at Best Muffler Shop here in vegas looking around for some **** and i noticed they make custom headers. It looked like 8 individual little pipes, sorry if i sound stupid i dont know much about exhaust. What is the gain and purpose of these custom headers?

U dont really need custom headers unless u have a turbo setup. It will be cheaper to buy headers designed for our cars.

While im on the subject of anything going into the motor, say i was given 1,000 bucks, as far as performance mods go, i already have CAI and straight pipes from the cat back, what would anyone suggest i spend that 1,000 on.

You could do a nonintercooled vortech supercharger for $2063 more. The intercooled centri superchargers are inferior in every measurable and conceivable way at their current price when compared to a intercooled twin screw or turbos but the vortech non IC kit is only $3063. That would give you the most power and be the most significant mod.

$1000, spend it on a nitrous setup for most bang for your buck

+1!!! A 100 shot will also rape a basic non i/c vortech as well.

With a good kit, good tune, and a window switch you can do good things with nitrous.
