When I got mine from Brenspeed I asked if there was a difference in the CAI. He said they are all about the same (at least between the C&L, Steeda, and JLT) HP wise. I got the one I thought looked best (Steeda with the carbon fiber tube, probably the most expensive but I love the way it looks).

I don't believe the K&N CAI requires a tune, so you probably won't feel as much of a difference as with the CAI with a tune.

I have an auto, and the tune from Brenspeed has been great. It shifts better and feels significantly quicker then stock.
