Blower doods, what is your gas mileage?
I'm running a Whipple, 11 lbs of boost, GT500 fuel pumps with 34 lb injectors, no other mods other than exhaust with 3.55 gears. With strickly interstate driving at 70-75 mph and non boost acceleration, I can only get as much as 20.5 mph on level ground (not too much above sea level). Are ya'll in the same range? I would have thought I would get a little better than that, with a slight improvement of volumetric efficiency provided by the blower with conservative driving and 3.55 gears? I can live with it no problem, but I would have thunk better.

LOL My Cobra is @ 520 hp and 520 torque with full bolt ons and custom cams and at the moment I dont think Iam getting better than 5 miles per the gallon only because my 02s are gone and that combined with my really rich tune very bad for gas milage.

If you're getting five miles to the gallon, you need to get into a shop and have you're car fixed, because it's broken.

20 mpg is what the gauge cluster is reading or what you've calculated after filling up?
My gauge reads 16 almost always if I don't reset it. If I reset it at 70mph, then it will show about 22mpg after 10 miles or so and it stays steady. I have 4.10's and the stock whipple tune. I've never ran a whole tank on the highway, so I have no idea what kind of mileage I really get.

No offense and not trying to be a PITA, but what does it matter?
You buy this car, put a blower on it to ramp up the HP and you're worried about MPG?
You gotta pay to play. I just add gas (93 octane btw) when it chimes and says 50 miles to empty. I don't worry about how much it uses or what it costs...I simply enjoy mine!
Last time I checked it...2 years ago...interstate driving, 75mph, 3.73 gears....I got 25mpg flat on a 1600+ mile round trip.
My Dad was retired from the USN as well. He always told me...power or economy...you can't have both.
