help!!!whistle comes out from automatic tranny
i got the car 6 month ago,its an 09 gt/cs automatic, absolutely new. but after 2000 miles the car got a whistle sounds from the tranny when the car doing accelerating from 1st gear to 2nd, sometimes 2-3rd. no more problem or sound after that. I also feel the car have a little jerking to the front when the car shift from 1st-2nd.(feel like beginner driving the manual). And i usually do some downshift with the transmission to decelerate. Any one know y? is it the time change to transmission fluid or something else?

You're under warranty. Take it to the dealership. From your description it could be a number of things, none of which are worth troubleshooting on your own after only 2000 miles. If it's a tranny issue (which it sounds like) then let the dealer take care of it.

HUH? A dealer cannot deny you warranty work for a lousey fender bender. That should have NOTHING to do with the problem you're having unless the damage was extensive enough to damage the drivetrain. Get the car in before it gets worse. DON'T LET THE DEALERSHIP INTIMIDATE YOU!
I had the transmission whine on the 1-2 shift also.
To a degree, the 5r55s has a slight whine if you listen closely. But mine was really loud.
Went back and forth with the dealer. Just work with them. They have to run you through the whole step by step routine.
"No that's normal"
Test drive with the service guys. Compare with another car.
Run diagnostics.
Get on the Ford hotline.
Get a field engineer sent out.
More test drives.
Get authorized for a tear down and inspection.
Replace some parts that show abnormal wear.
Still whining.
Get authorized for a replacement transmission.
That's what happened with mine. Took a couple months or so to go through all that.
Talk to the service manager and don't be a jerk. They have some flexibility in how they handle your case. Be patient and work with them. They see obnoxious customers all day long.
