Default More Power!

I need some help. My wife wants more power for her 2010 GT. I know the basic options: 1) S/C or turbos, 2) cams/heads/other or wait for the 2011's. I got 1 and 3 figured out, but what about #2? Is there anything I can do for a couple grand and get a 100 HP in return? No nitrous. Thanks.

you could get a custom tune with an sct device, that would get you about 15 hp on a 2010 and completely change the autos shifting program

Oh well i dont know about 100hp, but you could get cams, long tube headers, delete plates, and that would maybe get you ~40rwhp

I would love to put 1-3 together! OK now, I have heard that there is not much point in putting on headers and a catback because the the new exhaust is so efficient. Is this true? I know my Challenger inside and out but the Mustang is not a familiar beast. Obviously, money is an issue somewhat so I'm looking for the biggest bang for the buck. I can't seem to get around a supercharger for what I (wife) want(s). Also, what about the new C&L CAI and tune? Thanks for all input.

Your best bang for the buck is going to a a non intercooled vortech at around $3500 or so.

Being that you live in AZ, I would not get anything that wasn't intercooled. If you have the money, I would get an intercooled SC, preferable a twin screw. Kenne Bell, Whipple, Saleen, Edelbrock.

With most of the nickle and dime bolt-ons, your CAI & tune plus cams and LT's you're not going to pick up much more than 60-70 RWHP over stock, tops, unless you do some serious internal work at which point you're overall reliability goes down and the cost for all that gets close to or surpasses the cost to go FI. Nothing beyond the H-pipe will change performance; only sound.
