I also have the roush shifter without the longer arm. I just liked the looks better this way. The shifts are very short and to me it doesn't seem to take much more effort to shift it. Just feels notchy and sporty now.

I kept the factory boot too. The shifter ball came with an adapter to fit the stock boot.

your shifter stalk is much wider than mine. I drove a 427R earlier this week and I actually liked the way it shifted. Would like to keep my shifter handle and boot though

The shifter took about an hour to install. Be sure to get the recessed part on the correct side. Take note that I also removed the shifter from the top. Tried to remove from the bottom and I couldn't get it passed the tranny. Came through the top pretty easily with some wiggling.

Dash kit was $500. If I could do it over I would have gone with the mid America kit. Couple hundred less and has more pieces. Both are supposed to be real carbon weave. Quality on my kit was just average to be honest. Check out the air bag piece and how the lower one is to long by a couple mm's. Not to bad but for $500 I expected better.

That Roush you got is awesome! The shift boot you were asking about is Ford p/n AR3Z-7277-B
