Default Technology package DVD question

Has anyone ever done a mod where it will play DVD movies without you being stopped?

Not for me, but would be good for a passenger on a long trip.

Otherwise i see no point in having this feature..who GOES OUT to their car to watch a movie?

I can think of two times it would come in handy...1) you are stuck at a car show and bored for a while (rare) or 2) if you frequently eat in your car and you want to watch the short sit comes that last like 22 minutes (like Big bang theory)...

Thats it..other wise its a total waste of a DVD encoder.

I would never modify it to play video while driving, but I do put in a concert DVD and listen to the soundtrack while driving.
