i just got the Pypes axle back yesterday at summit..it is only 239..I think it sounds AWESOME..it is very mean sounding when you are in the pedal..When you are just cruising down the road it sounds just like stock and I can barely hear it in my cabin..For the money i am very pleased with it..As I was looking something with a little more bite then factory but not overly obnoxious loud.

+1 on the Pypes Violators. I love mine. Best bang for the buck, not too loud yet not too quiet. As Poppa bear says just right!!

another +1 for the pypes violator axle back. it sounds great. i got mine from american muscle for $244 with free shipping. im VERY happy with it. just cruising around its not much louder than stock, but when you get on it, it sounds awesome.

fyi dont try to youtube videos to hear how it sounds. the sound quality isnt the same. i video'd mine and it sounded like crap on my computer. in person though, it sounds awesome. i get compliments all the time.

with the 2010+ you dont need the hanger kit too btw. not sure about other years

Default Another Plus for Pypes

Just put the Pypes Violaters on my 08 GT/CS, agree fairly quiet unless you are getting on it, highway drone minimal.

I got the MagnaFlow MagnaPak 16574 for mine. Sounds great, no drone. Tame at idle, loud under heavy throttle. Installation was a breeze. I also removed the foam from the cabin side of the sound tube.

Best price I was able to find was from Blowbyracing:
