So today I was driving along about 50mph and the car just died in the middle of the road. No check engine light. No weird noises. Car will not start back. Checked diagnostics with diablo and nothing shows up. Installed factory tune but same result. It sounds like it tries to start but it's almost like it has no fuel. And yes there is gas in the tank. Also noticed when I turn the key on without starting it I can't hear the fuel pump build pressure. If anyone has seen this before or has advice on where to start I would appreciate it.

 

Sounds like you are looking in the right direction... Is you fuel filter clogged? Is the pump actually pumping? What about spark? Do you know if you are getting a good spark? Has your vehicle been running rough lately or is this all of a sudden?
